On Monday we started the week with a great performance from the Brass Band in Assembly. Following this we all walked from our current site in Cranmore to the old school in Marlborough Park. Mr Francey gave us a short history lesson and pointed out where the building was and any remnants that were left.
On Tuesday we stepped back in time and ditched technology for the day and the teachers tried to replicate life as it was back in 1917. Some were more successful than others at staying away from the technology required to deliver the curriculum in 2017/18 !!
Wednesday and Thursday afternoon saw us exhibit some of the vast school archives in the hall to the Inchmarlo community past and present. Alongside the archives were various exhibitions of the boys’ work on different decades and what life was like at Inchmarlo during these times.
It was a very successful few days with many people visiting the school, sharing stories and catching up with old friends.
