On Friday the 16th November, we took the P6 class from Inchmarlo to the Belfast activity centre. The day is very important to us as it constitutes 60% of our A2 coursework.
The aim of our day was to run a very effective and smooth active leisure event at the Belfast Activity Centre. At first, the boys completed some fun warm up games which involved using a parachute and a skipping rope. After this, we split the boys up into two groups, one group went caving and the other went climbing. After the groups were finished their first activity they had a small break and then swapped with the other group.
The feedback from the pupils was that they thoroughly enjoyed the day and I know this was also the case for all members of the year 14 team.
We would like to thank BAC for allowing us to use their premises and Mrs Wallace for facilitating the day. However, the majority of our thanks must go to the pupils for their behaviour and cooperation throughout the day.
As you can see from these photo’s the boys took part in climbing and caving, the boys favourite activity was climbing.
