Bugsy Malone
There was much excitement and anticipation … this was to be the first whole-school performance in front of a live audience in over 2 years. The Inchmarlo production of the musical, comedy Bugsy Malone surpassed all expectations, -it was sheer joy from start to finish and will continue to live in all of our memories as one of the highlights of the year.
As Bugsy himself said “We could’ve been anything that we wanted to be, with all the talent we had.” This cast certainly had no shortage of talent … and their futures look bright! I am particularly struck by what a remarkable achievement this is for a group of boys who have not had the same opportunities to perform in front of live audiences. Mrs Morwood rightly said it after all 3 performances – “these boys are amazing!”
