Roots of Empathy

Mrs Traub and our P4 boys had a very special visitor as we launched our first Roots of Empathy session of 2025. Mrs Stewart proudly introduced, Elle whose big brother Ralph is in P1.  Elle will help the boys learn about feelings, kindness and caring throughout the year.

The programme encourages empathy by allowing pupils to observe and reflect on a baby’s development and emotions. Today’s session was full of excitement as the boys met Elle, asked thoughtful questions and shared what makes them feel happy and safe.

We look forward to many more sessions where Elle will help us explore big ideas like friendship, understanding, and compassion. A huge thank you to Ralph’s family for supporting this wonderful initiative!
