P7: Our biggest year. Our greatest adventures. Our final Inchmarlo chapter.

Led by Mr Moreland, P7 begins with a strong focus on SEAG preparation, helping pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to perform at their very best. Following the examinations, the emphasis shifts towards our exciting post-primary transition programme, preparing boys for the opportunities and challenges of senior school. Throughout the year, pupils have the chance to develop as leaders through House and Sports Captain roles, build enterprise skills through Young Enterprise, and strengthen links with RBAI through a range of curriculum visits and enrichment experiences.

The P7 curriculum is rich, engaging and designed to inspire curiosity across every area of learning. In Language and Literacy, pupils explore thought-provoking class novels including Holes and Street Child, developing their reading, writing, discussion and critical thinking skills. Our World Around Us topics bring history to life through the study of the Titanic, the Victorians, and the captivating world of Greek Myths and Legends. STEM learning plays a significant role throughout the year, with opportunities to investigate, design, create and problem-solve through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In ICT, boys develop digital skills through coding, presentation, research and creative projects that prepare them for the demands of an increasingly technological world.

Beyond the classroom, pupils enjoy a broad programme of sporting, artistic and cultural opportunities, with chances to represent the school, perform on stage and contribute to the wider life of Inchmarlo. The year culminates in an unforgettable residential trip to Manchester, providing opportunities for independence, teamwork and personal growth. From leadership and learning to friendship, adventure and achievement, P7 is a year filled with experiences that challenge, inspire and prepare boys for the next stage of their educational journey while creating memories that will last a lifetime.
