Our P2 boys thrive in a fun, engaging and nurturing environment where curiosity, independence, confidence and a love of learning are encouraged every day. Our hands-on approach to learning, provides exciting and meaningful experiences that allow every child to learn in a way that is unique to them.

Through our carefully planned lessons, the boys develop their reading, writing and communication skills, while practical and purposeful numeracy experiences help them develop and apply key mathematical concepts. Each term brings exciting new topics to explore, with our current term’s themes being ‘All About Me’ and ‘Autumn’ providing opportunities to investigate, create and discover the world around them. Alongside classroom learning, the boys enjoy weekly Forest School sessions, PE, ICT, Music, as well as both indoor and outdoor play, ensuring a rich and varied learning experience that support the development of the whole child.

A highlight in P2 so far has been our exciting science experiments! The boys have explored the concept of how hot and cold can have a different effect on the process of melting. We also linked our learning about feelings and emotions to a fun magic milk experiment, encouraging the boys to observe, predict and discuss what they could see.
