Beavers and Cubs

Our Beavers have shown teamwork and commitment making many fun memories.

What a fantastic year it has been for the Inchmarlo Beaver Colony.

This year, we were pleased to welcome a fantastic group of P2 Beavers into our Colony. We are proud of all our Beavers for helping our new P2 boys feel welcome.

The parents’ night was a brilliant opportunity for parents to see first-hand the types of activities and challenges the Beavers undertake each week. Well done to Tom and Fred Osborne for earning the shield for Best Behaved Beaver and Charlie Forrester for achieving the best inspection score.
The Beavers excelled in working together to complete their Teamwork Challenge badge. They demonstrated super communication and problem-solving skills while tackling group tasks and games.

A special mention must go to the many Beavers who earned their Personal Challenge badge this year. This award recognises individual effort and commitment in trying new things and demonstrating personal growth. We are incredibly proud of each Beaver for setting goals and working hard to achieve them.

The Elfnavady event was one of the highlights of the year! This special Christmas event saw the Beavers toasting marshmallows, creating model penguins, sipping hot chocolate, enjoying festive games and meeting Santa.

Our Beavers have been busy earning a wide range of Activity Badges, learning practical skills and exploring new hobbies. On Pancake Tuesday the boys flipped for fun and enjoyed tasty pancakes. The Beavers let their imaginations soar when earning their Book Reader Badge by creating their own bookmarks and sharing about their favourite books.

The Boys learned to express themselves and use different forms of communication, including signals and codes, whilst earning their Communicator Badge. For the Health and Fitness Badge we focused on healthy eating, exercise, and safety, ensuring our Beavers understand how to look after their bodies and minds.

The year was concluded by the boys earning their Adventure Challenge Award this involved exciting outdoor challenges, bug hunts, scavenger hunts and a trip to BAC where the boys enjoyed rock climbing and the leap of faith.

We are so proud of every Beaver for their contribution to the Colony this year. We look forward to another year of fun, friendship, and more challenges! A huge thank you to our leaders and all the parent volunteers.
