Football is a central and dynamic part of our games, with all boys participating enthusiastically on our Inchmarlo pitch.
The commitment is notable, extending well beyond regular games lessons as many students attend extra after-school practices.
Although few of the boys play regularly for outside clubs, the coaching expertly led by Mr. Andrew Gardner, ensures they compete at a consistently high standard in schools’ competitions.
The teams are regular contenders in the prestigious Belfast Schools’ Cup, the fast-paced Sinclair Cup 7-a-side tournament, and the highly regarded Edco Cup.
The school community also eagerly anticipates the fierce Inter-House football competition, a tightly contested fixture where boys from P5 , P6 and P7 play with great loyalty for house points and the coveted Inter-House Cup.
