Celebrating World Science Day at Inchmarlo
On Monday 10th November, Inchmarlo Prep School celebrated World Science Day with an exciting programme of hands-on learning and discovery. RBAI Chemist Extraordinaire, Mr Roy, ably assisted by Senior Science Technician, Mrs Moorhead, and three enthusiastic Upper Sixth Chemistry students, brought science to life for for Key Stage 2 boys. P5 and P6 enjoyed practical experiments, including the ever-popular activity of making slime, which sparked lots of curiosity and fun. Meanwhile, Mrs Oberholzer introduced Pre-Prep to P4 to the fascinating world of pH levels using red cabbage as a natural indicator — a colourful and engaging way to learn about acids and alkalis! The day was a fantastic celebration of science, encouraging our boys to think like scientists, ask questions, and enjoy the wonders of discovery. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event so memorable!
