Castle Espie

Today the P1 boys visited the WWT site Castle Espie. They had a marvellous day learning about mallards, making nests in the woods and pond dipping. The boys also got to visit the ponds where we saw a variety of ducks from all around the world including some rare species. The day was finished off with a picnic in the woods and a play in the fantastic woodland adventure area. Needless to say the bus journey back to school was rather quiet!
