eSafety Week

At Inchmarlo we take educating our boys about staying safe online very seriously and it is something that we teach from P1 up to P7. Recently we held an eSafety week were all the boys participated in activities and assemblies based around communication and keeping themselves safe in a digital world.

The Principal held an eSafety assembly for the P3 to P7 boys where lots of issues about social media were addressed. The P1 and P2 boys had an assembly led by the P7 digital leaders – Louis, Aiden, Oliver A and Jasper. Louis, Aiden, Oliver and Jasper had researched lots of issues about eSafety and created a PowerPoint for the youngest boys in the school. The P7 boys then did some follow on work with the foundation stage boys based around the internet safety themed book Chicken Clicking by Jeanne Willis and Tony Ross. Some key stage two classes also had the opportunity to participate in drama based workshops and discussions.
