P1 and P7 Forest School

Normally at Inchmarlo the P7 boys have the opportunity to be playground buddies with the P1s, unfortunately this hasn’t been able to happen this year as every class has to stay in their own class bubble. Last week, in Forest School, the P7s designed and built an obstacle course for the P1s to use. They worked together to plan and build something that would help the P1s practice their balancing and climbing. Then the P7s checked that what they had designed and built was safe for the P1s. The next morning the P1s came out and explored the obstacle course. They had an amazing time and really enjoyed themselves. As a whole class reward for filling the pompom jar with ‘kindness’ pompoms the P1s then had a bonfire which they made s’mores on. What a fun morning!
