Inchmarlo parents and both professional artists, Dawn and Stephen Whalley showed us round their Art Gallery in East Belfast and the boys really enjoyed watching Dawn demonstrate how to draw and paint bugs with watercolours. The P1s then made ladybirds, caterpillars and all sorts of mini beasts of their own.
She then painted a special Inchmarlo snail for us using oils and each boy did a snail of their own with gouache on canvas.
What an enjoyable day!
