P6 and P7 Internet Safety Workshops

The P6 and P7 boys had a great opportunity to develop their understanding of staying safe in an increasingly digital world when two members of the BEAM team visited school. The boys completed ice-breaker challenges in which they made decisions based upon their social media activity. The drama based workshop allowed the boys to join in with a variety of tasks based around internet safety and making good choices online. All the boys expanded their knowledge, especially around the area of social media platforms, and were given sound advice on how to stay safe when using these in the future. This session was the first of a series of events leading up to the national Internet Safety Day on the 11th of February.
