Enrichment Hour

The Enrichment Hour at Inchmarlo

An essential daily mix of fun, learning, creative pursuits, and social skills development for young pupils.

The Enrichment Hour at Inchmarlo is specifically designed to expand the learning and development opportunities for the school’s youngest pupils, particularly those in the Pre-Prep, P1 and P2 classes.

Rather than simply being an extension of the school day, this structured session offers a dynamic mix of fun and educational experiences. It serves as a vital platform for the boys to engage socially, participate in group activities and develop skills beyond the core curriculum.

The daily scheduling of the Enrichment Hour ensures a consistent and safe environment where the boys can gain confidence and explore new interests alongside their peers, setting a foundational tone for a broader school life.

The comprehensive range of activities offered through the Enrichment Hour, and the broader After School Care programme, caters to various talents and interests. The offerings move beyond traditional classroom subjects to include creative pursuits like Art & Craft, and intellectual stimulation through Language Learning and ICT & STEM activities.

Furthermore, pupils can engage in physical and social activities such as Cross Country, Playball, Football, GolfTastic, and structured group involvement like Beavers and Cubs.

By providing this diverse array of options, Inchmarlo ensures that every pupil has the chance to discover and cultivate passions, develop essential social skills like sharing, and benefit from positive interaction with older children, all within a supervised and encouraging setting.
